The Process - Washed
the coffee cherries are pulped, fermented, and washed with water before drying — resulting in a clean, bright, and well-defined cup.
The Producer - Gravfarm
Gravfarm Sukaratu, managed by Yugian and Lucy, members of the Forest Farmer Group, grows exceptional coffee while prioritising gender equality. The group provides training to farmers on various aspects of farming, including forestry, agriculture, waste management, and coffee cultivation and processing. In fact, one of Gravfarm’s coffees recently placed 19th in the prestigious 2021 Indonesia Cup of Excellence competition.
Good Morning Lucy is one such coffee, notable not only for its distinctive floral notes and high sweetness, but also for its emphasis on gender equality. The farm values women’s contribution highly, and women play key roles in the cultivation and processing of the coffee. By empowering women and promoting gender equality, Gravfarm is setting an example for sustainable and equitable farming practices.

The Terroir - West Java
Java has been at the heart of coffee history since the 1600s — and today, West Java is writing its own exciting chapter.
While coffee production was once centered in East Java, regions in West Java are now gaining recognition for their vibrant and expressive profiles.
Areas like Ciwidey, Mt. Puntang, and Kamojang sit in lush highlands shaped by volcanic activity — creating ideal conditions for growing exceptional Arabica. Cool temperatures, high elevations, and mineral-rich soil allow the cherries to ripen slowly, developing clarity, sweetness, and aromatic complexity.
In Ciwidey, on the slopes of Mt. Patuha, farms like Gravfarm Sukaratu benefit from this unique terroir. Combined with nearby regions like Puntang and Kamojang, West Java coffees are often known for their bright fruit notes, elegant florals, and refined structure.
What makes this region special isn’t just the flavor — it’s the diversity. Each mountain brings its own character, but together they define a new identity for Indonesian coffee: cleaner, more expressive, and full of life.
A new side of Java — vibrant, floral, and worth discovering in every cup.

Frequently asked questions
ABout the coffee
Is the coffee freshly roasted?
Yes. We roast our coffee in small batches every week. After roasting, the beans are rested for at least one week before shipping. This allows them to reach optimal freshness and ensures they’re ready to brew when they arrive.
Why do the beans need to rest for one to two weeks after roasting?
After roasting, coffee beans naturally release carbon dioxide in a process called degassing. During this resting period, the flavors continue to develop and stabilize. If the beans are used too soon, the coffee may taste unbalanced and produce excessive gas during brewing, leading to suboptimal extraction. In addition, dialing in becomes inconsistent during this phase, making it more difficult to achieve stable and repeatable results.
When is the optimal time to consume our coffee?
Typically, our coffee performs at its peak between 2 weeks and 3 months after roasting, when the flavors are fully developed and stable.
