Meramanis has been roasting Indonesian specialty coffee since 2023. Last year, we opened our own roastery in Haan, giving us the space and focus to deliver precise, high-quality coffee while maintaining a direct connection to origin.
Our coffees are roasted every Tuesday and Friday, ensuring fresh, consistent batches while allowing our roasters to refine and improve flavors continuously.
At our Haan roastery, we use the Stronghold S9X, which combines conduction, convection, and radiation heat. This allows precise control of the roasting process and consistent replication of profiles across batches, delivering reliable, high-quality flavor every time.
We select coffees that meet specialty standards, are organically cultivated, and naturally ensure the flavor and integrity of the coffee. Each batch is carefully evaluated for clarity, balance, and natural sweetness.

We work directly with farmers and producers across Indonesia, most of them smallholders managing their land with care and experience.
Many of the specialty coffee farms we visit are nestled within lush forests, which protect the crops from strong winds and provide reliable water during dry seasons. By supporting these farms, we help maintain agroforestry practices, preserving biodiversity and ensuring coffee and nature thrive together.
We value farmers as partners, not suppliers. Whenever possible, we respect the prices they offer, allowing them to maintain quality and continue improving their crops. Many farmers do not carry formal certifications, but their cultivation methods naturally meet specialty standards with minimal chemical input, ensuring the flavor and integrity of the coffee.
