In the world of coffee, Hario V60 remains as the most popular dripper among pour-over coffee maker. This cone-shaped dripper, with its distinct spiral ribs and large opening at the bottom, allows for a precise and customizable brewing process that can elevate your coffee experience. In this article, we'll guide you through the steps of brewing a perfect cup of coffee using the Hario V60.


Here's our Hario V60 recipe, that we also use to quality control our coffees.

  • 18gr coffee beans

  • Medium-coarse grind size

  • 95°C water temperature

  • 4 intervals: 00:00-00:30 50gr, 00:30-01:30 150gr, 01:30-02:00 50gr, 02:00-02:30 50gr

  • 2.5 minutes total brewing time

If you find the coffee unpleasant, here is the simplest way to fix it.

  • In case it is sour, either increase the water temperature or make the grind size finer.

  • In case it is bitter, either decrease the water temperature or make your grind size coarser.
