Meramanis Coffee Shop Barista

Meramanis Coffee Roaster is a coffee shop and a coffee roastery. Our mission is to bring and popularise Indonesian specialty coffee in Europe. Therefore it is important to educate the market of how good Indonesian coffee can be. So outside of your main job to make coffee as a barista, you will also educate the customers.

Your Job:

• Communicate with and educate the customer.

• Look after guests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Make sure that all areas of the coffee bar and preparation kitchen are clean.

• Create exceptional coffee and prepare small dishes.

• Handle digital POS system.

• Show joy and present Meramanis Coffee Roaster in the best possible way.

Requirements:

• Barista skill is NOT required.

• You are passionate in the idea of popularising Indonesian coffee in Europe.

• You have interest in learning coffee brewing and the chain of coffee industry.

• Basic mathematical skill.

• Communicative, a team player and able to bring positive energy to your workplace.

• Basic german and english language skill.

Nice to have:

• Able to speak Indonesian.

• Experience in dealing with POS system.

• Previous experience in coffee industry: farming, processing, roasting, or brewing.
